Katya Koteff has called Alaska home since 2006, after what was to be a summer trip turned into a lifelong adventure. She values the time she spends with her husband and kids outdoors, especially fishing and kayaking. Katya grew up on the coastline and shares, “The ocean has always been an integral part of my life.”
When Katya was first introduced to AMCC in 2016, she quickly knew it was an organization she wanted to support. As the principal and founder of Koteff Accounting Group, based out of Anchorage, Katya believes in building long-term trusted relationships with her clients and providing financial services that empower them to achieve their goals. Shortly thereafter, she began working with AMCC and it’s been a wonderful fit ever since.
“Seeing the changes in our oceans since I was a kid is alarming. I value AMCC for amplifying the voices of fishermen, harvesters, marine scientists and other regular people like me who care about protecting our oceans and the quality of food we get from them. AMCC’s urgent efforts to promote a healthy future for our oceans and children is a cause worth standing for.”
